Recreation and Parks - Summer Group Golf Lesson Program

Turnberry Golf Course
This five week group instruction program on Tuesdays for ages 10-18 are at 11:00 AM. Classes are one hour long and limited to the first 50 paid students. The cost is only $50 per student. Fundamentals such as full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play will be taught. For additional info, please call Scott Jones at (614) 645-2582.

Provide reasonable interpretations of the Building Code and determine the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction. The Building Commission may, after a hearing, authorize the conduct of any such operation in such a manner as to relieve against such hardship or impracticability, provided, however, that any authorization so granted will not endanger the safety of the persons or property.
Regular meetings are held as needed - generally on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, meetings are subject to cancellation or rescheduling. You are encouraged to contact the Building Office for meeting confirmation.

Bicentennial Park
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department welcomes the premier Chinese acrobatic tour company, Golden Dragon Acrobats, to Bicentennial Park on Fri., June 21 to 8 p.m. for a free performance as part of the Rhythm on the River series. Join in conversations during free, hour-long guided tours led by expert historians and docents.
Whether you live up the street, on the other side of town, or are visiting Columbus, these unique walks and talks are an easy way to explore art, cultural,
and the humanities while getting active and seeing great art, architecture, and historical sites around Columbus neighborhoods.
Tours will begin promptly at the designated time and location, but do not require advance registration.
